Exhaust Fan Installation

Kitchen and Bathroom Exhaust Fans are an integral component of your home’s ventilation system, bathroom exhaust fans have multiple benefits.   While they help divert unpleasant odors, they also divert humid air to un-fog mirrors and create a more enjoyable temperature.  Some bathroom exhaust fans serve numerous purposes. They can exhaust air, provide a resource for overhead lighting and provide a source of heat on cold winter days. At K Electric we have installed exhaust fans in multiple sizes to fit any space.  Kitchen Exhaust Fans can serve similar purposes, but most importantly situated over an oven or stove they will help draw out bad odors and excess moisture. One of the most common requests we receive are for enclosed bathrooms with no windows, which lead to poor ventilation and poor lighting. Call K Electric for superior technical knowledge and expert installation of your new exhaust fan.

Why Do I Need a Bathroom Exhaust Fan?
Bathroom exhaust fans remove moisture from the room.  It is detrimental to your home for moisture to build up in the bathroom for a multitude of reasons.  If damp air is not drawn out of the room it can cause the wallpaper or paint to peel, the wood floors to bow, doors and woodwork to warp, and mold and mildew to grow.

Why Do I Need a Kitchen Exhaust Fan?
Kitchen exhaust fans remove bad odors, excess heat, and moisture from your kitchen.  The last thing a family likes to smell when something good is cooking is foul odors being pushed out into their home when something is burning or was burnt from a previous meal. In most cases the addition of an exhaust hood placed over your range will help.  However in some cases families choose to add an additional exhaust fan in poorly ventilated kitchens.

Why Get Professional Installation?
unacceptable installation can go unnoticed because exhaust fans are in part hidden by the ceiling.  If the moisture from the air leads into the attic, it can condensate on wood surfaces in the attic.  Condensation over time can lead to mold, wood rot and or other hazards, in addition in most communities it is a violation of their building codes.  In addition, fans that are vented through the roof need to be sealed correctly to make sure there are no leaks and the electrical wiring needs to be done properly for both immediate and long term safety purposes.  If you are considering adding or replacing an exhaust fan please contact K Electric.
